Personality:
Despite the adorable body of a prepubescent school boy, Five is not a child and has a habit of threatening violence on those that treat him like one. He has lived an unfair amount of years in an apocalypse, where he was all alone, family dead, and the only company he had was a mannequin he named Dolores. He kept himself busy with libraries of books, reading and educating himself, and struggling day in and day out with the mathematical equation to be able to send himself back to before the apocalypse and save his family. The hobble he lives in is nothing but scribbles of math, equations over every inch of space on the wall. It's safe to say, while he talked with Dolores as if she held actual conversations, she didn't, and his social capabilities didn't progress any from the closed off, guarded prickly kid he was when he got himself stranded there. If anything he's perfected that description. Far more intelligent, but the same little asshole.
From there, he was bribed to join the commission. Became an assassin for the handle so he could get out of the gods forsaken apocalypse. We can speculate that this only served to make our little asshole more cutthroat. He didn't like being an assassin, his childhood raising to be a 'superhero' completely contrary, but he did his job well and it kept him out of the apocalypse.
What we get in the series is sarcastic Number Five that can be downright ruthless. Despite only being just reunited with his family, Five doesn't stay and make nice. Not when the apocalypse is looming less than two weeks away. He chooses the wisest course of action and then amends along the way. He's nothing but methodical. Pragmatic. Surgical.
When he turns to his siblings for help, he does so carefully. He considers which of them would be most apt to believe him and he could benefit the most from. When she doesn't believe him, he agrees and instead chooses to slip out while she sleeps. He doesn't have low expectations for his siblings and they frequently disappoint him, but it's also worth stressing that Five is working tirelessly on a very short deadline. His already short patience is on an even shorter fuse. His family's dramatics are met with cutting sarcasm, frustration, and disregard, if not insults for their perceived stupidity and uselessness.
Five is the golden boy, talented and smart, and nursing an enormous sense of pride. He's something of a legend at the commission; even the assassins that come after him are in awe over some of the things he's done. An excellent assassin, combat expert, and a genius -- it isn't hard to gather why he's frustrated with his family. Despite his insults and threats, Five still works himself to the ground in order to be able to save them.

Powers/Abilities:
-Spatial Jumps. Five is able to perform spatial jumps, though it's fairly clear there are limits on this within canon. He never jumps far away, most of the jumps not being any further than from the distance of standing on the sidewalk next to a building and Five jumping to the rooftop of a one story building. Too much use and he runs out 'juice' -- and this happens rather quickly. One fight with too much jumping is enough to do it.
-Time-travel. He was able to travel years into the future... and get himself stuck. The next time he attempted, he managed to strand his sibling over three different years. At the end of S2, he's able to take smaller steps through time, but as of S1, he's learned it's best avoided.
-Combat. While under Reginald, he trained extensively and this continued when he became an assassin for the commission to get out of the apocalypse.
-Tactician. As many years as he was trapped alone with a mannequin, Five has probably read an entire library. Reginald began grooming him from the start, every minute of the day was filled with training and studying, except, of course, rare small 15 minute breaks. Even meals were ate quietly with educational audio playing. From all of this, Five has a great wealth of knowledge and is more than able to create plans accordingly.
